Working with a product photographer

From reflective surfaces to fine textures, I tailor the lighting to the product and the way customers need to see it. Preparing a product photography brief

For a product photography enquiry, contact TB Studios and include the product types, quantities, materials, required views and intended image use. Reference images and any website or catalogue specifications help define the brief. Ask about preparation, delivery and licensing so we can agree the requirements for your project.

Start with a list of the products and the finished images needed for each one. Include front, side, detail and group views where relevant. Also note any colour or size variations that need separate photographs. This helps define the shot list before we discuss the estimate.

Next, share how the images will appear. An online listing, a printed catalogue and a wide website banner may need different crops. If text will sit beside the product, we can allow space for it in the composition. Finally, include any examples that show your preferred background or styling. These references help us agree a consistent approach.
